In fact, recent reporting presents a very different picture of the Sussex family’s current situation. Harry and Meghan returned to the United Kingdom with Archie and Lilibet in August as they established a longer-term private base in Britain while maintaining their California home. The couple remain non-working members of the Royal Family.
The children have also recently started a new school after security concerns surrounding their previous commute. ITV reported that the decision was made following discussions between the family and their security team, rather than because of an intervention by another royal.
Princess Anne’s name has nevertheless become a popular feature of viral royal stories because of her long-standing role within the monarchy. But no reliable report currently indicates that she has taken control of Harry and Meghan’s family arrangements or prevented Meghan from travelling with the children.
