Recent reports about Althorp confirm that Diana’s brother, Charles Spencer, continues to visit the gravesite and has spoken publicly about maintaining a personal connection with his sister. On the 29th anniversary of Diana’s death in August 2026, Spencer again paid tribute to her, describing the anniversary as his “least favourite day.”
The renewed rumors may partly reflect the intense public interest surrounding Diana as the 30th anniversary of her death approaches. Spencer is also preparing to publish Swan Song: Diana, My Sister, a personal memoir about his relationship with Diana, scheduled for September 22, 2026.
